About 5 minutes ago this happened.
Me: "I have a question for you. "
Greg: (about to go to bed and really wants to get to sleep) - Okay.
Me: "So do you think I should cut back Kaley's 5am feeding to only 2 ounces? I mean, she doesn't want to eat at her 8am feeding when she wakes up and 5am isn't acceptable to get up. Should we try putting her to bed earlier and see if she sleeps later [For those of you w/o kids, it sounds crazy, but works.]? Or should I just wait till her 4 month appointment and ask Dr. Enders about it?
Greg: Yes. Ask Dr. Enders. She IS only 3 months. Is she 3 months yet?
Me: No, on Friday.
At this point in the conversation I realize that with Kaley I don't treat her quite like a 3 month old. Maybe I need to readjust my expectations.
As Greg put it, "Most people would kill for this situation." I guess Kaley going from 8pm - 5am, eating, and then going back to sleep from 5-8 is enough to ask of my little girl who isn't even 3 months. I'm glad that Greg is my reality check.
